Komodo dragons have recently been deemed venomous. Until now it was believed that the bacteria trapped in their teeth from rotting flesh caused its prey to become infected rapidly and die. They now know that there are actually venom glands in its lower jaw. Research holds hope for stroke and cancer patients. :)
