So lately I've been kicking around the idea of giving up on my goal of competing in oct/nov....
Reasons
- Zero social life
- Let's face the facts, no one wants to hang with the boring girl who won't go out to dinner and never drinks...yeah I know, she sounds like a blast, right.😳
- The world socializes with food and alcohol.
- People don't want to be around those who make them feel guilty for their choices, consciously or otherwise. People want you to partake in their indulgences with them.
- Being told I'm no fun anymore has become an expected statement from friends.
- While these things bother me and it gets lonely and hard at times...."other people" are not a reason to give up what I want.
- All I can hope is that I run into more fitness weirdos who love protein balls, protein mug cakes, know the difference between whey, egg, and casein protein, know what macros work best for them or are experimenting with their macros, understand clean eating, love insane workouts, understand that lifting heavy isnt going to make you big if you're a woman, understand the words "bulking" and "cutting" and just love life.
- Okay, seriously, i just reread that and that's a shit ton to expect, idealist in the house😜.
- Realistically i hope i run into more fitness minded people.
- Oh and they have to swear, curse, or use vulgar language at times, people who don't do this scare me :), true story!!
