“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”

Cherish the time left
It DOESNT matter if the monsters individuals face are real or not.
What DOES matter is those monsters are real to the individuals facing them.
Never tell someone their monsters don't exist.
Get a location, grab a sword (or a verbal arsenal) and start swinging.
We all have irrational fears, no matter what our age.
You don't tell a child the monsters in his/her closet don't exist.
You tell the child I got this, stand back.
You then procede to banish the monsters from the closet.
A child needs to feel safe and secure.
We all need to feel safe and secure.
It's never about an objective reality.
When it comes to relationships of any kind, the reality is always subjective.
