While the last week off was AMAZING and well deserved.....It's time to get back to reality, which means dusting my brain off and whipping it back into shape, not to mention 5 a.m. auditory assaults on my ears. Oh, JOY! ;).
What I learned on my week off
What I learned on my week off
- The entire week I spent playing video games with Austin, watching him shoot his bb gun, and playing with him needs to happen more often, soon enough he wont want me around.
- I need to spend more time with my niece. I have the ability to help and be a part of the supportive structure that helps her flourish.
- While my stepmother and I got off to a rocky start, I'm starting to realize she has an arsenal of information she can teach me. She's trying and I cant do anything but respect that.
- I'm too hard on my dad.
- I need to ignore my half brothers angry assaults on my decision to go back to school. People only try to bring you down if you're above them ;).
- My mom is over worked and under payed. She is beautiful and strong.
- Austin will look to me for support before trying something new and will face is fears. I'm so proud of him for that! He is now learning how to play hockey, thanks for that opportunity dad :).
- NOT to take for granted my physical ability to walk.
- Just keep going
