So I had physical therapy this morning......I'm expecting the usual irritable emotional mess out of myself later from nerve irritation.
Anyway, there is this guy who is always there and he brings his little dog in with him every time he comes in. He was walking out as I was walking in last session so I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting his dog Summer.
Today I was laying on a table getting worked on by the therapist when Summer came strutting in with her larger than life personality and itty bitty shitzu body.
She immediately hopped up on the chair next to my table as she was fawned over by the women in the room. She then proceeded to jump onto the table I was on, lick my face, and then cuddled up next to my body low enough where she couldn't be easily grabbed by the therapist.
IT WAS DOWN RIGHT ADORABLE!!
The therapist who owns the facility then told me she had never seen the Summer take to someone so quickly and go to the length of jumping on their treatment table to cuddle.
She grabbed her and got her down off the table but I didn't mind her being up there at all, in fact I liked it. Animals and kids always seen to gravitate towards me. I guess there is just something about my energy field that meshes with theirs. Come to think of it, little kids always seem to love Austin too. Maybe a scent? IDK
However.....I think I have the opposite affect on adults.........Oh well, you can't win em all :)!!!
Made me think of getting involved in a therapy dog program :).
